I haven't read a book for pleasure in a year. It's the price I pay for reading hundreds of wonderful student papers that I get to spend hours of my free time correcting.
I go to Book Expo every year and collect dozens of books. I added about 15 more to my collection this year. Written Magazine is doing a 30 Books in 90 Days challenge. You should check it out. While I support that effort fully, I have created my own personal 1 Book, Before Fall Semester Starts challenge.
Went to the beach last week to get started, because my house was junky and I decided that it was impossible for reading to take place in that environment. I closed my eyes and grabbed a book off my desk. I'm reading Where the Line Bleeds by Jesmyn Ward
